Growing Lettuce at Home

  1. Lettuce is grown in the winter season. It is a leafy plant. It needs a temperature of 18°C to 24°C.
  2. First, you need to buy the f1 hybrid seeds from the nursery.
  3. Take a soil mix of 60% of garden soil, 30% of compost, 10% coco peat, and one full hand of neem cake. It is the best potting mix for vegetables.
  4. Fill the pot. Sprinkle the seeds of lettuce and put the layer of soil over it
  5. Pour some water.
  6. You can see the plant growing after 8 to 10 days.
  7. After the growth of the plant, we see the leaf color changing to brown.
  8.  Don't worry. After a few days, the leaf will change to green.
  9. After, the leaves have grown four to five inches.
  10. You can harvest them or wait for the plant to grow a little bit to get big leaves.
  11. Make sure to add compost after harvesting.

Enjoy it in burgers and sandwiches.
